A solo oracle booklet — three d20 tables (The Answer / The Twist / The Detail), sixty entries, system-neutral. The key that turns the whole shelf single-player.
A solo oracle is a metronome, not an author. It doesn’t write your story; it rules on the one question you can’t guess your own heart about. Ask something that can truly be answered yes or no — is the ferry still running? — and read the entry aloud, whole: the first word is the verdict, the rest is all true. Strong answers get billed on the Twist table, and every bill lands on someone you had just started to like. Scene too bare? The Detail table stocks the room with things that were used, mended, and left mid-thought — a world that was here first.
Three dice, one scene, five minutes. And it has a second job: played against the rest of this shelf, this booklet turns the whole catalog single-player. The Answer speaks for the NPC on the card; the Detail dresses the dungeon’s empty room; no GM required — for ours or anyone else’s. Three questions rolled against the Village NPC Deck produced a hill appointment, a windowsill mystery, and a free stable bunk: three "no" answers, one playable evening.
Solo players on any system; GMs between groups who still want to play; duet tables that want a neutral referee; anyone who bought one of our pages and wished it came with a player.
